Tabula Rasa enemies: the aerial Predator

When fighting the Bane, there is no defense for ill-preparedness on the battlefield. That is why we offer you, young soldier, the opportunity to learn from the mistakes of the dead and to move forward in our campaign. One thing you must fear on this battlefield is death from above, a curse brought upon by the Bane’s aerial assault units known as the Predator.

The Predator is the equivalent of an all-purpose flying tank. Created by the Bane to seamlessly alternate between reconnaissance and suppression fire, the Predator is equipped with fixed gun turrets and searchlights to easily strafe shrapnel across our ranks. At the same time, the Predator’s turrets are strong enough to provide additional defense against our aerial units, which makes it both versatile and powerful.

There are two worthwhile ways to survive an encounter with the Bane’s Predator, though. The first is to seek thick cover that will make the penetration of its bullets ineffectual. The second way is to use its versatility to our advantage. The gun turrets are fixed, so a multi-directional attack from different sides, or from the air and ground, will allow a coordinated strike against Predator units. The only problem with it is the possibility of dying before the job is done, but you were prepared for that the moment you accepted this briefing, didn’t you?

Get going soldier, and may the enemy’s fire be high and wide.
