In this week’s Feedback Friday for Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa, NCsoft has announced that the game will be employing another approach to releasing new content. Instead of expansion packs, content will now be released in smaller updates.

Basically, this just means that updates will be dispersed on a more regular schedule instead of spread out between months. That kind of approach has its own unique advantages, like not having to wait as long for something new to arrive.

Speaking of updates, there’s a Question and Answer portion for this week’s Feedback Friday concerning Patch 1.4. You might want to take a look:

Q: When will you give us the ability to reset our attribute points as well as our skill points

A: Another important note with 1.4 – Due to popular request, cloning now does just that and resets your skill points AND your attribute points. This should allow your new cloned characters to start from scratch completely with the 1.4 build. You still cannot completely change you class however.

Q: Server Transfers, will they ever be available? I’ve heard about unofficial RP realms, server exclusive events and it’s a little daunting that I miss them with my main characters/clones because I’m somewhere else. What’s the future plans for a paid transfer system?

A: Currently, Tabula Rasa does not provide a character transfer service to any server, including test. It is something we have on our giant list of things to do and when we have an update on the status of this and other account based features, we will advertise it here.

Q: I have questions regarding the new changes to attributes. How will the mind damage bonus affect logos abilities that don’t do direct damage such as turrets, create clone and others.

A: Mind currently does NOT affect turrets, bots, and other ‘pet-class’ entities. You are changing the attributes of YOUR mind, not theirs.
