Take it from the expert… 5-year-old reviews SIXAXIS
No offense to anyone, but minus the rotting limbs and hollow eye sockets, this cute little 5-year-old could probably pass for a zombie. Well, such a non-responsive state is not uncommon to a lot of kids (that includes YOU, no matter how old you are) who are pitted with a new toy. Given a SIXAXIS, one could assume that getting absorbed into the game in a zombified state of mind would be normal.
Someone in Kotaku videotaped his son’s first experience with the SIXAXIS and the story goes that, after thirty seconds, his kid dropped it saying he hated it. His son then watched him playing and after a while, wanted to give it another try. Thus, you see the video above. A happy kid, and an ignored father.
When asked though, he said he still prefers the “thumb sticks”. Although from what we could tell, he doesn’t sound convincing enough. He was all smiles every time he steered the controller, so as far as thumb sticks go, he seemed happy enough without it. Watch the video for yourself.
We even had to chuckle a bit when he mentioned that he liked 360s – surely, he was talking about a 360 degree turn and not the Xbox console, right? How ironic…
