Take-Two to make Fantastic 4 game sequel
2K, the publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, recently announced that it will publish Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, the second of the Fantastic Four games to hit the scene. Rise of the Silver Surfer will be based on both the upcoming film sequel and comic book series. It is slated for a June 2007 simultaneous release with the upcoming movie.
With this development at hand, it seems that Activision now lost the rights to the game. The third person action video is being developed by 2K’s Visual Concepts studio and Seven Studios. So far, these are the only details we have about the game and we’re hoping to get our hands on some screens, movies, and details as the weeks go by. The movie is expected to be a blockbuster hit, let’s see if the video game version suffers the same fate.
