Tales of Dagur source code fixed
Tales of Dagur, one of the best homebrew DS games ever, has just received an update. Nope, LiraNuna didn’t go on a coding spree and add a few more hours’ worth of gameplay (although that would be one of our dreams come true). Instead, the update focuses on the game’s source code.
It had come to LiraNuna’s attention that Tales of Dagur’s source code didn’t work with the latest devkitPro, so a fixed version of the source code is now out and ready for your downloading pleasure. For those who would like to know what exactly has been changed, here’s the changelog:
- ARM7Â’s makefile is changed to produce binaries in Thumb mode to reduce the code size to fit the 64k limit.
- The ToD engine had a bug enabling effects before switching to a level. This caused the level handler to crash when loading the first map.
You can grab the fixed source code by clicking on the download link below.
