Cover art for Namco Bandai's Tales of Rebirth - Image 1The Tales series has always been one of the most memorable RPG franchises released by Namco on various gaming platforms over the years. Unfortunately, a lot of the older titles in the series have fallen into the cracks of obscurity with only the more veteran gamers to remember them.

Thankfully, Namco Bandai will be giving some of the newer gamers a chance to try out one of these games with the remake of the sixth title in the series with Tales of Rebirth for the Sony PlayStation Portable.

The official website for the PSP version of the game has updated a few new pages on its Character and System sections. These new updates expand on some of the game’s features as well as some of the well-loved character of the game.

Tales of Rebirth deviates a bit from the linear combat system by introducing the “Three-Line Linear Motion”, which gives players a third plane to move on and strategically attack their foes.

You can also take a look at the rest of the cast beyond the main protagonist Veigue Lungberg and his heroine counterpart Claire Bennett (no relation to the Heroes TV show character of the same name, we hope).

Since the website is purely in Japanese, those who are interested in taking a look at it will have to run it through their favorite online translator for additional info on the game. We’ve provided a link to the site below for anyone who wants to visit it.

Gamers in Japan can expect Tales of Rebirth for the PSP to arrive this March 19.
