Tales of Vesperia heading to Japan and US in August, Europe in 2009

Namco Bandai has not only announced the release dates of the game in Japan, North America, and Europe, it’s also announced the impending release of a new Xbox 360 Bundle for Japan. Even more news from Microsoft‘s Xbox 360 RPG Premiere event, this time for Namco Bandai‘s Tales of Vesperia. Namco Bandai has not only announced the release dates for Tales of Vesperia in Japan, North America, and Europe, it’s also announced the impending release of a new Xbox 360 Bundle for Japan.
First off, the release dates for Tales of Vesperia. According to the news release we found on the Japanese Xbox website, the game will be coming out in Japan on August 9, in the US sometime in August, and in Europe sometime in 2009.
As for the new Xbox 360 bundle, it’s called the Xbox 360 Tales of Vesperia Premium Pack and, in addition to the 20 GB version of the console and the associated necessities, it comes with a copy of Tales of Vesperia, a Tales of Vesperia faceplate, and a copy of the game’s script. The premium pack will retail for 37,800 yen (US$ 351) and will be released on August 7.
All in all, this news is quite a welcome sight, especially for the RPG-starved console. With a slew of new RPGs coming out for the console, the Xbox 360 is starting to look like the console of choice for next-gen RPG gamers.
