Tank Attack v.5
We’ve got some new and improved tank-related mayhem coming up with the latest release from Waywardson, Tank Attack v.5, posted in our very own QJ forums. Goodly-sized update this is, packing an entirely new level (and with an appropriate soundtrack to boot) as well as the essential function to pause your game.
For the unitiated, Tank Attack‘s premise is simple: you blow up the other dude (i.e. the other tank that’s roaming around the map). Short, sweet, and extremely reminiscent of Battle City. Not that it’s a bad thing.
A list of the changes from the previous update:
- New level: The Techno Room, complete with soundtrack.
- Pause Option: Press Start to pause, X to resume play.
- New Game Over Screen
- New Intro Logo
The Techno Room not only has its own theme, but the colors of the room actually change. It should be interesting to try and focus on blowing up the other tank in a disco-ish setting.
