Tank Beat “Allied Commands” trailer video
Today we’ve got the Allied Command trailer for Tank Beat, Sega‘s upcoming title for the Nintendo DS handheld videogame system. Check it out below.
Tank Beat‘s kind of like a next gen version of the classic NES title Battle City. This game fully utilizes the DS’s dual screen feature and is entirely stylus-based. Players draw tracks and choose targets to fire on in the bottom screen, while the DS’s top screen shows their tanks responding to the commands.
In Tank Beat, players get to commandeer a variety of tanks ranging from tiny scrappers to huge Panzers. The game has three gameplay modes: Story, Skirmish, and Battle. The single player Story Mode features 27 levels, Skirmish lets players practice blowing stuff up, and Battle Mode lets up to four players go against each other in either wireless head to head action or via the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.
