Target may have PS3 units on December 12

Cornelius Wilson over at PS3.net said that there’s a rumor going around that Target stores will get PS3 units on December 12. Anybody checked this out yet or called their local Target if it’s true?

Then again, Sony did promise a steady supply to make up for the launch numbers confusion when Sony ended up delivering less than half of the 400,000 units they had promised. No problem there, said SCEA Corporate Communication Director David Karraker, they’d have one million PS3s shipped by December 31 with “airfreight delivery for PlayStation 3 to assure a steady stream of systems for North American consumers.”

So if this rumor’s true, then go get yourself a PS3.

If it’s not, cheer up. There’ll be more on the way. As Ian C. said in his previous article, Sony may be starting slow, but like the tortoise, it’s going steady! Those shipments are going to keep coming in.
