Target preps up for the Wii launch

Michael over at RetroNintendo was checking out what’s new at Target recently when he noticed that the game section has been re-arranged. With ads and banners, Target is getting ready for the arrival of Nintendo’s next-gen console in November. He also noticed that the GameCube section was removed to make way for the Wii. Talk about proper dethronement.  Michael took some pictures of Target’s Wii section. So, check them out.

Target is not the only retailer that is preparing for the “Wii day”. Best Buy, another large retailer of consumer electronics and PC in America, has put up a Wii section on their website. With all the hype and rumors surrounding Wii, it is undeniably one of the most anticipated gaming platform.
