Target Wii and some other console’s card?

So, did you get to grab one of those uber cool Target Wii card? WE hope you did because we are hearing a lot of rumors about it. While the store has been known for making elaborate gift cards, it seems this specific one serves as something else more useful than a Nintendo dangling carrot.

First of all, according to reports coming from Target moles themselves, the upcoming PlayStation 3 would be getting its own gift card with “similar shape and has feature to it.” Both of the cards then will be available to use for specials for each respective consoles. Supposedly, buying three games would get you a U.S. $20 gift card that comes on an illuminating gift card.

Nothing is confirmed right now, especially regarding the PS3 one. In case all of these turns out to be true, we wonder if Microsoft would be gunning for the same strategy.
