Tasty treat: Cookie and Cream for the DS
Another strange platform adventure comes out for the DS in the form of the deliciously-named Cookie & Cream, published by 505 Games. These two characters, who originally appeared in PlayStation 2’s Kuri Kuri Mix, are now raring to go for another adventure on the DS.
This DS exclusive will have players control both of them at the same time. On the top screen, Cookie can breeze through the game using the D-pad and buttons, while Cream can be nudged around on the touch screen with the stylus, and follows commands made through the microphone. Thiscontrol scheme is very similar to another upcoming DS exclusive title, Square-Enix’ It’s a Wonderful World.
In order to solve the mystery of who stole the moon, Cookie will need Cream’s help in disabling traps and getting rid of enemies as well as other obstacles. Knowing when to use each of the characters, and mastering their abilities is a must if players want to finish the game.
To be released in September, Cookie & Cream will also feature multiplayer battle modes up to four players as well as cooperative two-player gameplay.
