TDU at TRAX 2006

In an endeavor that aims to reach out further to car and gaming enthusiasts, Atari will be showcasing its very own Test Drive Unlimited to UK‘s biggest and loudest modified car and track event of the year, TRAX 2006.

Crowd favorite TRAX is widely considered to be the ultimate finale to the car show season. This year more are expected to attend as it will be held at the world-acclaimed Silverstone Circuit this weekend. Lee Kirton, Head of UK PR for Atari views this as the perfect exposure venue for their race video game. “WeÂ’re very happy to attend Trax at Silverstone this weekend. We are doing our very best to get the game played by as many people as possible.”

Aside from appearing at main sponsor Redline Pit, TDU will be putting its own with a Lamborghini Murcielago display. UK glamour model Holly Newbury will also be at hand, giving autographs and photo opportunities. Possibly the thing to watch out the most for is the planned giving away of game copies as well as Xbox 360 consoles as well.

Test Drive Unlimited, with the world’s most luxurious vehicles and more than a thousand miles of Hawaiian open road, finally appears in stores next week, September 8.
