Team Blackbolt Plans to Launch MC360 v1.0 Soon
Team Blackbolt has announced that they are nearing their goal of producing the MC360 v1.0 for the Xbox and that it will finally be out of the beta phase soon. The team would be unveiling the new features of v1.0 which will set it apart from the current beta version. They also announced that they won’t be releasing a new beta for MC360, since at the moment, they claim that MC360 works fine with the current T3CH builds.
To refresh your memory, MC360 or Media Center 360 is a skin User Interface (IU) for the Xbox Media Center (XBMC). It’s a free homebrew media application for the Xbox, but you need a modded Xbox to use XBMC as well as MC360.
In their website, Team Blackbolt spilled the news that, “We will have more news in the coming weeks about what 1.0 will feature different from current beta’s and then hopefully we will be done in time for the final 2.0 release of XBMC”, suggesting that MC360 v1.0 may be really on its way out of the beta version.
