Team Fortress 2 for PC gets new patch via Steam
The improvements for The Orange Box‘ collection of Grade-A shooters just keep on coming from the hardworking team over at Valve. This time, they’re offering fixes and improvements for Team Fortress 2‘s PC version via the Steam client. The changelog is in the full article, so head on over there and check it out.
The Orange Box maker Valve Corporation is back with an update for the PC version of Team Fortress 2. The patch will be downloaded automatically when your Steam client starts, so don’t worry about hassles or anything of the sort.
Fixes and improvements to the team-based multiplayer FPS have been included in this patch to ensure higher gameplay quality. Here’s the full list of changes that will take effect once you update:
- Added an option in the Options – Multiplayer dialog to filter custom game files being downloaded from servers
- Fixed cases where ragdolls were falling through the world
- Graphics optimizations for mid and low end hardware
- Fixed players blocking doors in Well
- Fixed engineer building in exploit areas on final caps in Well
- Increased starting round timer to 10 minutes in Well
