Now, the WAR! Update will be going live this Thursday evening. As soon as it goes live, Team Fortress 2 will also be free to play simultaneously, including brand new maps, special items and more. It’s a Free Weekend alright, so you better get going on that pre-loads now. The only requirement for your complete enjoyment is that you have Steam installed, and that you download the game.
