Team Konami wins inaugural MCV/Xbox 360 industry Pub Quiz

Konami pwnage in inaugural MCV/Xbox 360 industry Pub Quiz - Image 1Over a hundred game executives attended the inaugural MCV/Xbox 360 industry Pub Quiz in London. They were asked questions on a broad range of topics which ranged from science to the rather puzzling “men with beards” category.

Team Konami took first place with Vivendi coming in at a close second. The first placers bagged a racing day at Brands Hatch and a copy of Forza Motorsport 2 courtesy of Microsoft, one of the sponsors and co-hosts of the event. Other sponsors included Gem, Activision, Koch, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Vivendi, Konami, and Capcom.

The Konami team beat teams from other companies such as GAME, Gamestation, Play.com, Amazon, SainsburyÂ’s, PC World, Comet, Woolworths, EUK, and a conglomerate of representatives from The Sun, The Independent, The Star and Future Publishing.

Because of the success of this event, another one has been planned for September 5 at the AKA Bar. More gaming industry insiders are said to be in attendance at this event, so it might be a good idea to drop by just to check it out.
