Team Ninja: Ninja Gaiden 2 framerate, loading issues fixed in final version
Those of you who might have already seen the slow downs found in the initial videos of Ninja Gaiden 2 shouldn’t be so quick to judge the game. Team Ninja explained that gamers shouldn’t worry too much about these issues as the company fully plans on resolving them by the time the final version hits stores. Find out what else the devs had to say, as well as the added bonus they had for their fans, in our full article after the jump.
Those of you who’ve already seen some of the initial videos released for Team Ninja‘s Ninja Gaiden 2 may still be on the fence as to whether or not the upcoming title will be worth the wait. As shiny and as badass as Ryu may look in the latest iteration to the Ninja Gaiden series, many gamers who’ve watched the GDC 2008 demo video were worried about little “speed bumps” that might seriously bog down the normally fast-and-furious action the series is known for.
It was previously revealed that the review build of the game was plagued by a host of problems, which include slow loading times and jagged framerates. However, the developers assured everyone that these issues will be all taken cared of in the final release version of the game.
To make up for its shortcomings, the developers were able to post a couple of new high quality videos from Ninja Gaiden 2 (found in the source link below), showing off some of the game’s spectacular visuals. Hopefully, the devs will stay true to their word and nip this potential problem in the bud before the game hits retail stores. Ninja Gaiden 2 is set to be released in North America on June 3, with a follow up release in Europe on June 6.
