Team Ninja producer considers making more DS and Wii games
After seeing how much of a good game Team Ninja‘s Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword is, we certainly can’t wait to get another portable title from the accomplished team. So here’s some good news: during Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword‘s launch in New York, Team Ninja member and producer Yosuke Hayashi said that the team is interested in making games for the DS and the Wii. More details in the full article.
Team Ninja‘s Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword is already out for a few days, and is merrily stabbing its way into the hearts of many Nintendo DS owners with its lush graphics and furious gameplay. So what happens once you finish the game? Ask ourselves when we’re going to get another serving of awesome from Team Ninja, of course.
Luckily for gamers, Yosuke Hayashi of Team Ninja and producer of Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword revealed in the game’s New York launch that they are “excited” to find out that the DS is most certainly a platform that they can work on and make games for in the future. Hayashi did not comment whether there will be a direct sequel for the DS Ninja Gaiden title, however.
“Hopefully this title will lead to some examples of how to create some even more exciting action games. So in that sense I would like to work on something in the future for the DS,” he said. The gaming producer also acknowledged that there is also a lot of potential coming from the Nintendo Wii.
Hayashi helped launch the game in New York’s Nintendo World Store, where fans lined up to get their copy of the game. “The fact that people lined up at the store today to purchase the game, that feels good,” he said.
