TechRestore – Fix your PSP Overnight!
TechRestore, the company that will repair your MAC, PC, laptop or Ipod and return it within 24 hours, have now extended their service to the Sony PSP.
TechRestore’s new service, called PSP-Restore will allow owners of faulty PSP’s to buy the overnight repair package for just $29, and have their PSP picked up from their home. TechRestore will then analyse the PSP to tell you what’ wrong, and give a call back with a repair price for the system. They will then repair your console and send it back to you via overnight delivery. If this process goes to plan you should receive your beloved, now fixed PSP back within 24 hours. And if you think the repair bill is too large, they’ll just send your PSP back to you. All repairs also come with a 6 month warranty. This service could be a lifeline for some PSP users. You’re probably better off paying to get it fixed via TechRestore than sending it off to Sony under guarantee. Sony might send it back to you with the latest firmware version on it.
If you’re fed up with dead pixels you can also order a LCD screen replacement from TechRestore. This service is pretty costly, at $108.99 with overnight pickup and return, or $89.99 if you choose the self ship option – but your screen will look just as it did when you bought it!
I know the question will be asked, so I’ll answer it now. If you have a bricked PSP they probably won’t be able to fix it, but it might be possible if they replace the flash memory or something; but I like i said, I doubt it.
