Tecmo Bowl and Elevator Action spotted on VC servers?

Elevator Action - Image 1Just an interesting (and hopefully promising) rumor all the way from the Nintendo forums. According to the said rumor, Tecmo Bowl has been spotted on the VC servers, despite the fact ESRB has yet to rate it. The equally classic (and highly addictive) Elevator Action title is also rumored to be making it to VC, although once again ESRB has yet to rate the game.

Tecmo Bowl will be remembered as one of the earlier football titles that appeared during its time. It was host to some unique abilities such as break tackles, and would eventually be found as a playable game for mobile phones.

Elevator Action, for those who can’t recall, is a Taito-made action side-scroller. The game has the player, a spy stealing secret documents, attempt to escape a building while navigating swarms of enemy agents and elevators.

Given that there isn’t any confirmation on these titles at the moment save for a months-old preview, we’ll just have to wait and see – although it would be a good way to make up for the recently available (and overly expensive) Ocarina of Time classic.
