Telemetry Gameplay video from the Forza Motorsport 2 demo

Have you downloaded the demo for Forza Motorsport 2 yet? If not, then you should get right on it as soon as possible. The demo arrived yesterday, which was preceded by a tedious wait as nobody really knew the specific time of its arrival. In fact, nobody was actually sure whether it was really going to land last night or not.

Thankfully, our patience was rewarded, and thus we finally got our hands on a quick look at Turn 10‘s racing masterpiece for Microsoft‘s Xbox 360. If you’re one of those who have yet to decide whether it will be worth the try or not, then maybe this “Telemetry” gameplay video could help you push that download button fast.

But first, a little explanation on what Telemetry is. In motor racing, this technology essentially allows engineers to interpret the various data collected during a test or a race. These computations will then help them in giving the car optimal tuning for that superb performance. Some of the stuff measured would be the accelerations (G forces) in three axes, temperature readings, wheel speed, and the displacement of the suspension.

So basically, these are the stuff you’ll find in the video. Without further ado, we give you the “Telemetry” gameplay video for Forza Motorsport 2. Oh, and QJ’s quick impressions on the demo will be following shortly. Enjoy!
