Ten more screens for Dynasty Warriors DS: Fighter’s Battle

We were all excited when Koei announced that it will bring the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise to the extremely popular Nintendo DS. The installment of the series will be called Dynasty Warriors DS: Fighter’s Battle and will have a lot of the elements that made its predecessors so successful. Koei recently unleashed a nice bunch of screens and we were pretty satisfied with what we saw.

The game lets players choose from three characters whose names were drawn from mythological beasts. Phoenix is the balanced type in terms of stats and skill types, Dragon will run circles around foes with his uncanny speed and Chimera will pound the living daylights off the baddies with brute strength.

Not a lot has been revealed about the storyline, but what we do know is that players will be tasked to unify a nation that has fallen into chaos using tactics, magic and force. One pretty exciting detail is that players will have the ability to summon past Dynasty Warriors characters and have them fight for their cause.
