Tenchu 360 (Xbox 360) Japanese Website Opens for Business

tenchu 360

Tenchu 360, also known as Tenchu Senran, for the Xbox 360 has been in development for so long we have almost forgotten about it. From Software first revealed details of the game at the Tokyo Game Show in 2005 and set its release date for Summer 2006. The company even showed a brief trailer of both games during TGS, but gave no details.

From what we know Tenchu 360 will have a new feature where gamers can customize their own ninjas. The player starts with basic-model, a low-level ninja, and work their way up to stronger warriors by picking up various skills and moves throughout the game. The makers said some 60 million variables will be available. Tenchu 360 also features online support and players can use to put their original ninjas in a co-op mode on Xbox Live arena.

If you can read Japanese you might pick up more info at the newly opened official Tenchu 360 website. If you can’t read the language (and translation by Babelfish makes you laugh so hard you pee in your shorts) you can simply watch the gameplay movies posted there.
