Tenchu Senran Extended Trailer
When the trailer for Tenchu Senran first came out, it wasn’t quite met with “oohs” and “aahs” by fans. With only a few thumbs pointing up to be seen, this 8th game in the Tenchu series went quiet again. The fact that so little is known about it remained: Create a Ninja Option and Co-op Mode in Xbox Live. Its developer FromSoftware was thinking probably, this should suffice for now.
Then from the shadows like a ninja patiently waiting for a perfect time to strike, Tenchu Senran announces its presence through a trailer yet again. And this time, there are two of them.
First is an extended version that focuses on, well, what Tenchu Senran usually boasts about nowadays: the Create a Ninja Option. In fairness to the game, this option does really provide tons of variety from weapons, to costumes and even hair color.
The second video reveals to us something new as it shows how the Co-op Mode in Xbox Live works. We know that ninjas have a reputation for being solitary and alone. But the video shows, that sometimes bringing in friends wouldn’t hurt at all.
Both videos depict how the characters actually use the stealth mode: running on walls, crawling on ceilings, and attacking from behind. The kills we must say, though a bit lacking in color, are intense. Curiously, the next-gen graphics are not quite visible yet in this trailer.
With all that said, Tenchu Senran still has what it takes to be up there, with the Tenchu great games. Its availability is yet to be announced until today.
