Atari and Eden Games have yet another surprise for all those Test Drive Unlimited fans out there with the addition of an iconic Italian sports car manufacturer: Maserati. To anybody who knows everything about cars, the name Maserati will have them jumping with joy and get the heart racing.

Of course, most of us don’t have the money to ever own a Maserati, so I guess we’llMaserati GT render have to stick with the ultimate driving experience from TDU. There won’t be just one Maserati in TDU either, but two: the Maserati MC12 and the classic 3500 GT.

3500 GT
In 1960, Maserati introduced a version of the 3500 that had a shorter chassis for greater handling and direction. Often compared to the Ferrari 250 and Aston Martin DB4, this two-door coupe convertible was one of the most advanced cars of its day. The 3500 GT is definitely one for players to have in their collection of cars from Test Drive Unlimited.

Look hard now, as you won’t be seeing these again until Autumn 2006 when TDU is finally released for the PSP, ps2“>PS2 Xbox 360 and PC.
