Test Drive Unlimited: The Lusty Viper Screens
When the Viper was unleashed back in 1989 as a concept car, it managed to set the hearts and imagination of car enthusiasts purring. It has also captured its share of trophies on the track as a three-time FIA GT2 and Le Mans class champion. The Viper has always been a show stopper with its unbelievable rush of performance that kicks up to an entirely new level. After all it was specifically built by Dodge engineers as a new, true convertible version of America’s ultimate front-engined, two-seat, rear-wheel-drive sports car. Devoid of cupholders, cruise and traction control, the Viper is a driver’s package that has no desire to be “a luxury boat posing as a sports car”.
No surprise this sexy road hunk made it as one of Test Drive Unlimited’s mechanical stars along side other dream cars. TDU will rev up the Xbox 360, and PSP for sure. In TDU gamers will be able to customize their metal horses and race them with other people online. There will be tournaments held between different clubs (guilds, basically). The Xbox 360 version is set to be released on September 8 this year. Meanwhile check out these Viper hot shots. Don’t you wish you can test drive this baby right now?
