Texas Hold’em Free Downloads And
For the Xbox Live Gold and Silver members who have succeeded in downloading for free the recently-released Texas Holdem on the Xbox 360 last August, the story is not yet over. We’ve heard reports that Texas Hold’em set a record as the fastest downloaded item ever on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Microsoft declared that there were over 100 downloads per minute in the first 24 hours alone of the titleÂ’s release.
If you didn’t catch up to the first 48 hours that the game was given for free, your 800 Microsoft Points couldn’t possibly go to waste. And if you’re still out to scavenge for new game titles and premium downloadable game content on Xbox Live Arcade, do check out the following:
* Cloning Clyde Picture Pack. An action adventure/puzzle game (Wahoo Studios/NinjaBee). It has four new gamer picture packs available on Xbox Live Marketplace, allowing gamers to check out more unique pictures of Clyde. The picture packs cost 100 Microsoft points each.
* Time Pilot. A futuristic fighter pilot classic from Konami. It allows gamers to fight through different eras mixed with high-definition graphics and enhanced gameplay. Downloadable for 400 Microsoft points.
* Scramble. A classic side-scrolling shoot-’em up coin-op title from Konami. The 1981 classic, widely considered the first multi-level shooter, launches on Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday September 6 for 400 points.
These are still downloadable until September 6, along with other Xbox Live Arcade games available on both single and multiplayer features.
