TGS 2007: Silent Hill Origins is MIA on showfloor
Despite having been confirmed in Konami‘s lineup for the TGS (they even had a pre-TGS trailer released), Silent Hill Origins seems to be absent on the TGS showfloor. It’s neither found in the Sony PSP station, and neither is it found in the Konami booth too.
The no-show was confirmed to IGN by a Konami representative, and unfortunately, no reason was given as to why the title wasn’t able to make it.
There have been talks about issues with development, but most remain hopeful that this no-show doesn’t automatically equate to a delay in the game’s release. The demo leaked from the Leipzig Games Convention may have been a factor in Origins‘ not being in TGS, but this is mere speculation. Just in case the fog clears up though, we’re sure to give you guys updates on Konami’s latest thriller.
