TGS 2008: Koei announces Uncharted Waters Online for PS3

Koei has revealed plans to bring their PC MMORPG Uncharted Waters Online: Cruz del Sur to the Sony PlayStation 3 console. Uncharted Waters Online is set in the Age of Exploration and has players act as adventurers, explorers, and traders. More in the full article.

Koei has revealed plans to bring their PC MMORPG Uncharted Waters Online: Cruz del Sur to the Sony PlayStation 3 console. Uncharted Waters Online is set in the Age of Exploration and has players act as adventurers, explorers, and traders.

The game’s PC version will reportedly come with enhanced visuals and a new interface optimized for PS3 users. Koei is apparently still deciding on whether or not to to include cross-platform play for PC and PS3 gamers.

There are still no announcements for an international release of Uncharted Waters Online‘s PS3 version, but the game has been given a 2009 launch window in Japan.
