That’s no Slim: Rumored pictures of the PSP-3000 prototype

The PSP China Bulletin Boards has picked up some new pictures of Sony’s rumored PSP-3000. Rather than just a couple of pics of the unit’s separate bits and pieces, this new batch shows what appears to be a working model. You can view the pictures over in the full article.

It looks like the recent PSP-3000 rumor isn’t about to die down any time soon folks, as more new pictures of this mystery unit come to light. The images were taken via the PSPChina.net message board, and show what appears to be a prototype of the unit plugged into a USB cable.

As with the previous pictures, these shots indicate that the PSP-3000 will have a slightly different PSP logo on its back, a PlayStation button where the Home button used to be, and a microphone right beside the volume controls. Outwardly, it looks almost exactly like the PSP Slim, complete with the flat back and glossy black finish.
