It’s been another long, hard week of gaming, and you know that also means it’s been a long, hard week of pushing consoles to the game-starved masses across the world. Well, Japan‘s not the world, but it does happen to be one of the world’s foremost centers of tech and gaming.
Below are the results for Japan‘s weekly console sales. The biggest gainer from the whole thing has been Nintendo‘s DS Lite, with an impressive 37 percent boost in sales, approximately 55,000 units sold over the week.
Overall, the Wii is topping the home consoles with 12,810 units sold, the PS3 with 4,704 units sold, and the 360 comes in third with 1,319 units sold for the week of February 4 to 11. As for what that means, we’ll leave it up to you.
