The 80GB PS3 lives, says Korea
The 80GB PlayStation 3 rumor is starting to feel less like fantasy and more like reality, if this new information we found on Korea’s PlayStation site is accurate.
According to Korea’s official PlayStation site, the unit it will be handing out to consumers isn’t your usual 60GB PS3, but rather a souped-up 80GB version. It’s repeated a couple of times in the product specifications page, which means that someone was either very meticulous in making a typo, or we could be looking at extra-special PS3s in the near future.
In any case, we’ll either see a retraction of this very soon or a confirmation from Sony higher-ups once they find out about this. In the meantime, we’ll have to wait for June 21 to find out more about this intriguing new development in the 80GB PS3 saga.
