Sweating is how nature normally cools the human body. These new air conditioned shirts, with strategically placed fans, just provide a cooling breeze. These shirts have two 10 centimeter fans located at right and left sides at the back of clothing at waist level. The fans – which can be plugged into your computer’s USB port – draw in large amounts of air, helping the evaporation of sweat which in turn brings down the wearer’s body temperature. The wearer uses a switch to adjust the fan speed.
Alternatively, the shirt can be powered by 4 “AA” batteries, or your car’s cigarette lighter. The shirt was designed by a former Sony technician, Kouzi Ichigaya. Shirts are available for men and women, but at present, only in Japan.
