The army moves out: Patapon 2 screens, now in English

You ready for Patapon 2? Are you sure you still got your save file from the first game? Europe gets it in the next couple of days already! And as such, we now have a new batch of screens for the game, complete with English text. (Which actually isn’t much, really, since actual text in the game is kept at a minimum – but hey! they’re still screens, and that’s one step closer to the release!)

Well, there’s not much English to distinguish it from the Japanese version, except for the menu bar at the bottom, but at least some of the speech bubbles do indicate more localization of text.

We’re given a glimpse of the army’s camp – the tree of life, the altar, and some of the more familiar elements from the first game, redefined in this one. If you check out the other screens, they show lots of gameplay and actual missions. One of the bosses is revealed too – some evil spirit wielding a huge hammer!
