The Art of Xbox 360 Accessories
The keyword for the Xbox 360 is accessories. Wildchicken, a User Experience Designer for Microsoft‘s Entertainment Experience Group, has posted exclusive concept art of upcoming accessories for our beloved console of choice.
You’ll see how one of the most anticipated accessory, the Xbox Live Vision Camera, came into being. I bet Chunky Mudd would give his seal of approval to this small but terrible gadget. It’s set to be hit the stores on September 19. Next up is the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset. It uses the same technology as the Xbox Wireless Controller, so you know it works, and works well. Last on the sketchbook is the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel. Just imagine playing Need for Speed Carbon (or Most Wanted, if you prefer that), Grand Theft Auto 4 and Project Gotham Racing 3 with this baby.
“It’s really cool to see these things go from pure concept to real product – I’ve learned a ton over the past few years and it’s awesome to have the opportunity to play in the hardware/software space. You can thank John, our Xbox industrial designer-at-large for these pictures.”
