The bomber jacket by Steve Jobs is featured in antiques auctions.

A NeXT Polaroid photo of Steve Jobs and his famous bomber coat
A new auction featuring a collection of Steve Jobs memorabilia is now open. Potential bidders can spend thousands on items such as polaroids, checks, and even a jacket that was once owned by the Apple cofounder. Apple memorabilia is a popular item for collectors. Items involving Steve Jobs have always been in high demand. In RR Auction’s Steve Jobs and Apple Computer Revolution auction there are 278 lots, some of which are directly related to the late CEO and co-founder. The leather bomber jacket with the “Middle Finger” is at the top of the list of Jobs-specific items. It was made by Wilkes Bashford and worn by Jobs in a famous 1983 photograph, where he flipped a bird at an IBM sign. The jacket, which is currently valued at more than $27,000 at the moment of publication, is expected to fetch over $75,000 when the auction closes. A few signed 1976 checks are also on the list. They are expected to fetch more than $25,000 each when the bids close. There are also photographs up for auction, including Polaroid photos for NeXT badges featuring Jobs, and founding employees. These photos are estimated to be worth over $10,000. Other lots include business cards from various stages in his career, an autographed 1997 Pixar annual, and a 1972 yearbook. Jobs isn’t Apple’s only CEO listed. Tim Cook, the current CEO of Apple, is also featured in the listings but with items that are priced lower. You can get a signed photo of Tim Cook’s Time 100 image for around $500. One signed by both Cook and musician Dave Grohl has already exceeded its $500 estimate. Apple Lisa computers with “Twiggy’ drives, a ProFile Hard Drive, and associated software, manuals, and instructions valued at $80,000 are also included in the list. Apple-1 computer, which was given by Steve Wozniak and Jobs to Apple’s first application engineer as a gift, is valued at $300,000. The 8GB model of the first-generation sealed iPhone is estimated at $20,000, while the 4GB version is valued at $80,000. RR Auctions will run the auctions up until August 22. The “30 Minute Rule” will begin at 7 PM EDT that day.
