The green, mean, Halo 3 Special Edition Theme
Master Chief’s armor, built for those with the hardest of cores, is all about utility rather than looks. It’s tough, it augments his physical abilities, it lets the 7-foot high tower of Covenant-destroying awesomeness walk on any terrain (including space). It’s the same with the Halo 3 Special Edition Theme for the Xbox 360 – no frills, just the fact that it gives your console’s blades a meaner, tougher look.
The free Halo 3 Special Edition Theme Pack from Bungie also comes with four high-resolution screenshots from the first trailer. Not too bad for a giveaway that makes your console’s blades look like the outer plating of Mjolnir armor. It’s just a shame they opted for faint outlines for the letterings and game-related miscellanea – but as things look, your Xbox 360 just got more rugged.
Now you can show off that your console of next-gen gaming happy is UNSC general issue – just be sure you can also easily trump your friends in Halo 3 after you do so. Else, it wouldn’t look as awesome.
