  • The Wii is not all about sunshine and sports resorts. AQ Interactive let the first few screens for their Wii horror game, The Feel. Link
  • Here comes the sun Beatles: Rock Band box art. The black and white, the hair, and the retro feel – all coming to the face of the game. Link
  • Also adding beat to the Beatles: Rock Band is its bundle, coming with some Beatles-themed peripherals and a heavy US$ 250 price tag. Link
  • The latest in Nintendo’s motion-sensing technology, the Wii MotionPlus, gets a release date, to be followed later by Wii Sports Resort. Link


Nintendo News

  • Nintendo’s new handheld, the DSi, gets a big statement from the PSP as the latter outsold the former in Japan in the previous week, as reported by Media Create. Link
  • It may have gotten outsold by the PSP, but the DSi boasts its powerful anti-piracy measures, which Nintendo doesn’t seem to want to go into detail about. Link
  • The NPD also handed out their sales report, and both Nintendo and Sony responded with optimism facing the coming months. Link
  • New toy only for the new boys – Nintendo has no plans of adding MotionPlus support for older games, so you’re gonna have to get the new games for the new toy. Link

  • Wii homebrew stalwart Waninkoko updated his SD/USB Loader app, allowing you to install and load your legal game backups from a USB storage device and more. Link
  • CashMan has outdone himself with a massive overhaul for an update for his Homebrew Browser, getting features stuffed into it like a turkey on Thanksgiving. Link
  • Another big brew got an update this week – it’s DeSmuME DS emulator for the PC, and it now has compatibility for a bigger list of games. Link
