The PSP Game for Braniacs: Puzzle Challenge!
Contrary to popular belief, games aren’t all bang-bang, shoot ‘em up, slice ‘em down, monster blood-and-guts gore fest. If you look hard enough, which we did, you may come across genuine mind-expanding games for your PSP. Puzzle Challenge: Crosswords and More! (Crave Entertainment ) is a repository of more than 1,000 crossword puzzles, word searches and other brainteasers of varying degrees of difficulty to suit your IQ. There are codebreakers (you have to determine the number matches assigned to each letter of the alphabet) puzzles with cryptic clues, diamond shaped puzzles and backwards puzzles where you fills in your own black squares. The PSP version has a two-player game sharing mode that enables two people on separate handheld consoles to play the game via wireless connection using one disc. Profiles can be set for multiple players so that the entire household can use the software.
For some reason we failed at finding any screenshots for this puzzling new game. Anyway, Puzzle Challenge: Crosswords and More! hits the store this April 2006. When it does, be there early, it could be the blockbuster of the year. (But don’t take our word for it.)
