The Samsung Galaxy Ultra Watch resembles Apple’s strength and customer service, with the exception of Apple’s.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra defect
Samsung is refusing to assist despite the warranty. One user had his Galaxy Watch Ultra for about a month before the action button fell off. Samsung unveiled a new rugged smartwatch on June 10 that took more than just the name from Apple Watch Ultra. Samsung’s “ultra” moniker has been used for years, but the design elements, such as the orange accents, are strikingly similar to Apple Watch Ultra. According to a Reddit thread, a customer who received their Galaxy Watch Ultra in July had the action button fall off by mid-August. The user hoped that Samsung would send a replacement unit rather than repair the defective device. However, Samsung refused. Samsung sent a $107 bill to the user when they sent the device in for warranty repair. Samsung seems to be trying to claim that the user may have broken their device in a manner that voids the warranty. Samsung should replace the device, even though it’s impossible to tell if the user broke the rugged smartwatch. Apple will often replace a device if a defect is found, even if it’s just to figure out what caused the problem in the first place. Samsung might want to spend more time figuring out what caused its rugged watch’s failure to last so long instead of worrying $107. Samsung could benefit from amplifying the story outside Reddit. For example, we found the story on Brandon Butch’s X account.
