The Sims Life Stories comes to life on your laptop
EA announced that a laptop-friendly line of their ever-so-popular The Sims series will be launched. The first one out of the line is The Sims Life Stories.
Looking very much like Sims 2, Life Stories will offer Open Classic mode and Story Mode. The Open Classic mode lets you control the lives of custom-made characters through a dynamic, romantic comedy twist that could spell disaster or bliss, depending on what you achieve first. Imagine that: you can make a copy of yourself and hope to have a better love life in-game than in reality.
On the other hand, Story Mode puts you in the shoes of pre-made characters Riley Harlow or Vincent Moore in their quest for love. It’s all about the choices folks, although there are probably enough scenarios throughout the 12-chapter storyline that everyone could relate to a few.
The laptop-friendly game will soon be followed by The Sims Pet Stories (yes a spin off from the Sims 2: Pets which is also available on the DS and PSP) and The Sims Castaway Stories – coming out soon by summer of 2007 and winter of 2007, respectively. By the way, you won’t need any other The Sims product to run these games – they are not expansion packs and are separate games.
