The Town of Arcapolis in Dragon Quest Monster Joker
Looking at the Famitsu update on Dragon Quest Monster Joker, we can’t help but sing the first few lines of the Pokemon theme (we’ll explain why later). Nonetheless, Famitsu tells us more about a game location in their website.
In Joker, you play a boy journeying to a town named Arcapolis (subject to change upon the official release of the game). Your aim is to become the best Monster Hunter there is (that’s why we’re humming the Pokemon theme!). Arcapolis is at the center island of an archipelago named the Grand Pool. Each of the islands have a particularly different topography, and with that comes a different set of monsters in each island. On the island of Arcapolis, there is a great tournament called Battle GP where you battle it out with fellow monster hunters. You get large rewards when you win battles and at the same time you build a strong team of monster hunters.
