The Wii is still pretty hard to get

1UP reports that the Wii is still well-nigh impossible to get. As previous reports have said, Sunday the 17th was supposed to be the last chance for people to get a Wii before the holidays, and several chains reportedly stockpiled the Wii so that the little console that could, will be in supply.

Sadly, whatever amount they stockpiled wasn’t enough to meet demand. 200 people were waiting at the Best Buy in Colma, California, and of the 200, only 20 were able to get units when the store opened. Target had about a hundred camped, and only eight managed to get a unit.

No wonder a few folks almost got mugged.
