From the team behind Kingdom Hearts comes a Nintendo DS title oozing with JapanÂ’s modern day culture and style, scheduled to hit shelves in spring 2008.
Known in the east as Subarashiki Kono Sekai, this action-packed RPG was supposed see its release in the U.S. as It’s a Wonderful World, but couldn’t due to copyright issues. The game follows protagonist Neku Sakuraba, a 15-year old boy who wakes up only to find out from a phone message that he will cease to exist after seven days.
As those keeping tabs on Tetsuya Nomura‘s hip DS game would know, The World Ends With You makes full use of the handheld’s capabilities by featuring a combat system which involves the touch screen, dual screen, and microphone. There’s also a minigame with four-player support for hours of fun.
