Thieves steal Christmas presents, including Wii
After an unsettling incident of a Nintendo Wii getting stolen while being delivered by the USPS, here comes another case where thieves were heartless enough to steal a Wii, meant to be a present for a grandchild, from underneath a Christmas tree. Details in the full article.
It looks like stealing Nintendo Wiis are the norm this holiday season, now that there’s another case of Wii-nap, this time in the UK.
Jennifer and Ralph Keenan both awoke to find out that their house was broken into, and to their dismay, the thieves stole the Christmas gifts meant for their grandchildren, including a Wii.
Also stolen were a box of Transformers toys, and a digital camera among other presents. All gifts were placed under the Christmas tree before they were stolen.
Brogan Keenan, the couple’s nine-year-old granddaughter, was especially dismayed at the incident. “Even if they are poor they should go out and work to get money for presents, not steal other peopleÂ’s,” she said.
It’s just sad that some people have to go and ruin some children’s Christmas. We just hope that the thieves will be apprehended, and the gifts returned to the elderly couple.
