This is crisis: Crysis hacked, available now on file-sharing sites

According to a report from Digital Battle, the Games for Windows title Crysis, from Crytek and Electronic Arts, has been hacked and is currently available on file sharing websites. The report added that the leaked version is full functional, playable and already comes with a crack.

It should be remembered that EA began a pre-load option for Crysis over at EA Store just yesterday. This was made to allow gamers who pre-ordered a copy of the game to be the first to try the game out on launch day. The said hacked version is said to have come from this very feature.

Both EA and Crytek have yet to make official statements regarding this development. If this continues, however, we can expect them to come up with actions to prevent this copy from circulating so as not to hurt the sales of Crysis.
