The sale of Nintendo’s DS Lite has reportedly waned a bit, but enough units were moved for it
to maintain the top dog status among consoles. The surge and domination of DS titles, having six out of the top ten softaware sales, is quite intriguing, analysts though pointed out the possibility that the increasing shipments of DS Lite could have fanned the interest of Japanese gamers. Square Enix’s Final Fanatasy XII sales, following its launch earlier this month has allowed it to maintain the top spot in the software deparment while also boosting the sales of Sony’s consoles.
