THQ Gamers’ Day 08: De Blob Cinematic Trailer, Revenge and Tower Race Gameplays

The THQ Gamers’ Day 08 sure is making the most out of the event by promoting their upcoming titles. de Blob (Wii, DS) is one of them, and that’s why we got three videos for you guys to watch. The simple project of nine Game Design & Development students from the Netherlands sure has come a long way now. The color-trigger-happy de Blob is now busy readying for its debut on the Wii and the DS, and THQ sure isn’t scrimping up on its marketing.

Here for you today are three trailers from the THQ Gamers’ Day 08, one of which is a cinematic trailer, while the other two are gameplays. The Revenge gameplay trailer basically shows the usually-lovable blobs taking revenge by squishing ink on their enemies.

Meanwhile, the other gameplay vid – the Tower Race – has the blobs racing to the top of the tower to get to the exit pool within time limit. The course wouldn’t be a breeze, of course. So you guys better watch out for those inkt hazards and pumps.
